Programa Atlántico de Inmigración

¿De qué se trata?

El Programa de Inmigración del Atlántico es un programa federal de inmigración que ayuda a los empresarios a contratar trabajadores extranjeros cualificados y titulados internacionales para cubrir las necesidades de mano de obra, los empresarios deben primero ser aprobados siendo designados y luego sus puestos avalados por la Provincia.

Once the employer’s positions are endorsed, foreign worker(s) identified by the employer can apply directly to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada for permanent residency. The foreign worker can also get a temporary work permit while waiting for permanent residency.

To have a position endorsed, an employer must:

  • Demonstrate that efforts to hire locally have been unsuccessful
  • Recruit a foreign worker
  • Provide a valid, full-time, non-seasonal job offer co-signed by the foreign worker
  • Provide an individualized settlement plan co-signed by the foreign worker
  • Complete mandatory onboarding training and, if required, intercultural competency training

Candidate:

Language

  • Candidates with NOC 0, 1 or 2, 3  job offers must have a minimum language level of Canadian Language

Benchmark 5 Education

  • Candidates with NOC 0 or 1 job offers must have a minimum one-year Canadian post-secondary program credential, or equivalency, demonstrated by an Educational Credential Assessment

Work Experience

  • Candidates with a NOC 0 job offer must have accumulated 1 year of work experience at NOC 0, 1, 2,3  or 4 in the last 5 years.
